All of us at the SARAH Foundation want to extend our deepest thanks and appreciation for everyone who participated in the 2021 virtual G.E.A. Read-a-thon for SARAH. While this year’s read-a-thon looked different than previous campaigns (add it to the list for the 2020-21 school year!), we are thrilled with the success of the first-ever virtual read-a-thon. With your support and participation, the 2021 G.E.A. Read-a-thon for SARAH raised more than $9,000! Simply amazing!

Thank you to the more than 100 incredible students for helping to make independence possible for many of our neighbors here in Guilford and throughout the shoreline area. You are incredible readers, students and friends.

Thank you to the 234 generous parents, family members and friends who supported the students during the read-a-thon campaign period. Your contributions will be put to good use as SARAH serves more than 1,700 individuals with intellectual and/or other disabilities throughout the year.

And finally, thank you to the amazing teachers, staff and G.E.A. reps who were the driving force behind making the campaign a success again this year. The Guilford Education Association, including its board leaders and membership, have stood beside SARAH for more than 60 years supporting our mission and programs focused on helping individuals live fulfilling, productive and engaged lives within the community.

Thank you, again, for your generous support of SARAH. You have raised critical resources to help us fulfill our mission and continue supporting the many individuals we are privileged to serve.
